Usually, when its time to write an article, I get an idea, and that idea burns in my consciousness until I sit down and write it out. Not this time. This time, I sat at the computer with no ideas and no inspiration. Just a guy who needed to produce something to keep the ball rolling with his spiritual practice.
However, as I sat down with the intention to create, I was engaging in a process the guides refer to as setting the stage. With the simple action of sitting at the keyboard, I created the opening my guides needed to bring the inspiration through.
NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF SHOWING UP.
It was all very casual. No burning bush or grandiose entrance. Just a quiet nudging that said, "Hey, we've got something for you."
In this situation, they didn't plant an idea that led me to the keyboard, they led me to the keyboard then planted the idea. An interesting strategy that worked like a charm.
The impression I was given is that I should discuss angel communication and the excitement in me became palpable as I realized this was the perfect opportunity to share some of the things I have learned recently.
Let me tell you one thing I know for sure, your angels are always communicating with you. In fact, it is a 24/7 live feed. The problem is that people want that communication to take on the linear form they are familiar with and they want the communication to be more tangible than an intuitive hit that needs to be decoded.
Where's the fun in that?
The truth is that communication with your angels is a lot like learning a new language. It starts with basic phrases and building blocks then, over time, as you become more comfortable with the language, you start to have conversations.
It is always evolving.
So what does it feel like? Well, let me use my current experience as a reference. What did it feel like when the prompting came through to discuss this specific topic, and how did I know it was divinely inspired?
I sat down, put my fingers on the keyboard, cleared myself, and took a deep breath. I then asked my team if they could provide insight on what I should discuss. The answer came back in the form of a very strong and clear thought that said, "angel communication."
So how did that thought feel different than all the others running through my head? It was very clear and concise. It was also accompanied by a sense of excitement and anticipation. It felt like when you are finally able to put into words what you have been feeling but couldn't quite articulate. It kinda just rolls off of your consciousness differently than normal thought. It rings through your system, it excites your cells, refreshes your passion, piques your curiosity, and fuels your creativity.
Think of it like this: you are having a conversation with someone and they say something that really resonates with you, you get this feeling in your gut or your heart that just confirms what they are saying is true.
It's the same feeling, just on a much grander scale.
Your body will respond as though It has experienced some kind of external stimulus when it actually hasn't. Again, the more attuned you become to this feeling, the easier it will be to understand the language and continue the conversation.
Recognizing that feeling and learning to trust it is one of the most important things you can do on your spiritual journey. It is the key to unlocking the door of communication with your Universe.
Here's the thing though none of this information is new to you or me. You've probably heard it before in one form or another... so I challenged the angels to bring forward an idea or concept that would bring a fresh revelation about this process.
And they did not disappoint.
The next thing I want to share is a direct result of that challenge. It's something I have never heard anyone talk about before and it shifted my entire perspective on the process.
You see, we have been conditioned to believe that our thoughts are our own and that we are the only ones responsible for them. But what if I told you that your thoughts are actually being created by two forces? The first force is your conscious mind, which is the part of you that is aware of your thoughts. The second force is your subconscious mind, which is the part of you that houses all of your beliefs, values, and memories.
Your subconscious mind is like a computer that has been programmed with certain information. This programming comes from your life experiences, what you have been told by others, and what you have seen in the world around you.
You can think of it like this: if your conscious mind is the software, then your subconscious mind is the hardware. Together they make up your operating system.
Now here's where it gets interesting... Your subconscious mind also houses what is called your "divine guidance system." This is the part of you that is connected to the higher dimensions. It is the part of you that knows your true purpose in life and it is the part of you that can help you produce ideas and make decisions that are aligned with your highest good.
On one hand, you have your conscious mind, which is logical, analytical, and rational. On the other hand, you have your subconscious mind, which is creative, intuitive, and emotional.
When you start having a conversation with your angels, what you are really doing is opening up a dialogue between your conscious and subconscious mind.
And here's the best part: because your subconscious mind is connected to the higher forces in the universe, there is no limit to the amount of information or support that you can receive.
Of course, I challenged them to explain further.
Here it is:
The reason why so many have been struggling to receive clear guidance from the angels is because they have been trying to do it with their conscious minds.
The conscious mind is not designed to communicate with beings in higher dimensions like the subconscious mind is.
So what can we do with that information and how do we harmonize the conscious and subconscious mind to be open to this complex form of communication?
The answer is actually quite simple: We need to learn to trust our intuition.
Intuition is the language of the subconscious mind.
Sounds simple enough right?
But if it were that easy, then everyone would be doing it.
The truth is that most people don't trust their intuition because they have been taught to think logically and often times that leads to mistrust of their gut feelings. As a result, they block themselves off from the guidance and limit themselves to the feedback given by the conscious mind.
The illusion is very very good at what it does but it is no match for a conscious being who is willing to question the status quo.
If you are reading this and you feel like you have been struggling to connect with your angels, then I invite you to try something different.
The next time you sit down to meditate or pray, instead of asking for guidance from your angels, ask yourself a question, make it a casual one, and listen for the first intuitive impression you get.
Pay attention to the thoughts that come into your mind, the feelings in your body, and the images that appear in your mind's eye, and then trust what you receive.
Your intuition is never wrong.
Set the stage and see what happens. You might be surprised at the result.
